My Rite Aid Deals 5/27/10

I made another trip to Rite-Aid. I found some great deals I wanted to share. I used my Rewards+ card to get sale prices on most items.

The spoils of my trip were :

• 2 Off Clip-On Bug Repellent  (Sale... $6.99 each)
• 2 Purex 3 in 1 Laundry Sheets ($8.99 B1G1 free)
• 1 Cascade Dishwashing Liquid (Sale... $2.99)
• 2 French's Mustard  (Sale...2/$3)

I paired the sale prices with several coupons.

• B1G1 Free for the Off Clip-On
• $1 off Clip-On Repellent from RiteAid Video Values
• $1 reward (printed on a previous receipt when I used Rewards+ card)
• $1 off Purex 3 in 1
• $2 off Purex 3 in 1 from RiteAid Video Values
• $1 off Cascade Dishwashing detergent
• $5 off a $25 purchase from RiteAid Video Values

After everything was said and done, I only paid $9.97 + tax.

Value of everything with no sales and no coupons is $48.23 for full retail. With a savings of $38.26.
 Now I would have never paid full retail at RiteAid. I would have shopped Walmart as their regular retail is much lower for all these items. 
 So...the total with sales and no coupons would have been $28.96.  The savings in that sense is $18.99. To me, that is a more accurate representation of what I really saved.
I almost forgot...I also have a $2 rebate for the Cascade, bringing my total cost to $7.76.

My Rite-Aid Deals

On Monday of this week I took a trip to Rite-Aid. I had scoured the sale ad and found the items that were on sale and that I had a coupon for. So with coupons in hand, my rite-aid wellness card and a short list, I found the following:

Loreal Excellence Hair Color On sale : 2for $15 (reg. price $9.49) They also had an in-ad coupon of $5 off of two. Then I stacked it with a $2.00 coupon I had printed from coupons.com a while back. Bringing these 2 items to $8 total making it $4 each!

 Colgate Toothpaste (large size)was on sale for B1G1 FREE which I paired with 2 coupons, one for $1.00 off Colgate Senstive and one for $.75 off any Colgate toothpaste (reg. price was $4.49 each). I got both for a total of $ 2.74 making it $1.37 each!

Always Pads and Tampax Tampons, both on sale for $2.99 (reg. price was $3.99). I had one coupon for each item for $2.00 off. Bringing the total for each item to $.99!

Then I checked with the REBATES that Rite-Aid was offering for this month and found that they had a $2.00 rebate on Always/Tampax . (limit one rebate...shucks!) Anyway...so after rebate is computed, I basically purchased the pads and tampons for...drumroll, please......$0.00 each!  Yeah!

So, all in all I spent, $10.72 for my items that valued $35.54....not bad for an hour's worth of work!

Now that I got a great deal on my favorite hair color, I plan on covering up my "gray highlights" this week.  :)
