Money Saving Tip:
Use the public library for your family's summer reading pleasures. Sign up for the Massanutten Regional Library Reading program. Your children will love the sticker gameboard and many prizes (pizza, Blizzard, Turks Game, Children's museum and more). Barnes and Noble will give a free book for eight that are read. My summer school students loved getting free books for reading.

I've been using the same 3 boxes of zip lock bags for 1 year now! They are washable and stand up to lots of wear! It saves me lots in years time and even more in a life time!

To save money, I coupon like crazy. Many grocery stores I visit, and also Target and Walmart, will take one manufacturer coupon plus one coupon printed from the internet. So you can use two different coupons for one item and often get that item for free, or close to it, especially if that product is already on sale.

Don't be afraid to buy store brands. Kroger has a bag of fries for .99 - $1.10 that will feed my family of 6 (and they like it).
