Top 3 ways to work from home. Which one is best for you?
1. First is telecommuting. Many companies are willing to allow their employees to work from home. If your current job is one that is mainly done in an office, on the computer or via telephone and you don't have to deal with customers face to face, this might be an option. If your current employer doesn't offer this option as a rule, you might want to work up a plan where it could be a viable option. Present a plan that shows your boss how it would be beneficial not only for you but most importantly, for the company.
2. Find a virtual customer service position. There are several companies that offer this. Instead of having an office space for all the incoming customer service calls, a company might just opt to have a calling center scattered all over the country(or world for that matter). A customer would call a main number and would be directed to one of many CSR(customer service reps). You could be one of them. 3. Create your own business. This a very broad idea, but you can trim it down by really determining what it is you are good at. If you love kids and have the space, maybe a home daycare is in your future. Friends are always asking you to bake a favorite cake or cook a special dish or two for a party. Maybe a catering or baking business is your thing. Do you have a knack for making jewelry or other craft items. You can sell them locally or list them on Etsy.com. For more ideas click here.
